WHAT TYPES OF CHARGER DO YOU HAVE AT BRAINTREE ELECTRIC FORECOURT®?

We have the fastest charging in the UK and the potential to charge a car in 20 to 30 minutes. 

The GRIDSERVE Electric Forecourt® uses several different charger types, which include:

         12 x DC high power chargers up to 350 kW (with CCS) = 20+ miles of charge per minute at full power

         12 x DC high power chargers up to 90 kW (with CCS & CHAdeMO) = 6+ miles of charge per minute at full power

         6 x AC chargers up to 22kW (with Type 2) = 1.5+ miles of charge per minute at full power 

         6 x Tesla Superchargers up to 250 kW (with CCS) = 17+ miles of charge per minute at full power 

We gently remind you always to make sure to note your particular EV's charging specifications before plugging in because your car's battery size ultimately determines the speed of the charge! And remember, the rate of charge can also be affected by outside factors, including how depleted your battery is when you plug in and the battery's temperature. 

Please note that if your Tesla has no CCS adaptor, you can still charge at the AC chargers with the Type 2 connectors.
