WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TETHERED AND UNTETHERED CHARGING?

The high power DC chargers are all tethered chargers which mean that the cable is attached to the charge post and is manually plugged into the car by the driver. The AC chargers are untethered and require you to supply the car manufacturer's cable; you then plug this into your vehicle and the other end into the charge post.
